Announcing the Radio & Audio Funding Award Finalists 2019
We are thrilled to announce our 2019 Radio & Audio Funding Award finalists!
From an innovative documentary for ‘third culture kids’, to a blood cancer survivor’s personal investigation into the healthcare system in the US, to a story of grief and loss set in a children’s hospice – take a look at the five projects in the running to win our coveted annual Radio & Audio Funding Award.
The finalists were selected by a judging panel of radio commissioners and documentary-makers, and will present their projects at The Whickers RAFA Pitch from 4.00-5.30pm on Thursday 5th September at the Regent’s Street Cinema in London as part of Open City Documentary Festival. The winner will receive £7,000 towards the making of their documentary, and a runner-up will be awarded £3,000. We look forward to seeing you there!
